The Sugar House Condos

The Sugar House Condo in Jersey City is one of the most luxurious residential buildings in North Jersey. Located at 174 Washington Street, the Sugar House building was converted into luxury condominiums in 2002. The property was initially a sugar warehouse during the Civil War, hence its current monicker. The area is right by the waterfront promenade, just behind the Colgate clock, and across from Morris Canal Park. Paulus Hook is a trendy neighborhood that is known for its many excellent restaurants, trendy coffee shops, and chic boutiques.  
Commuting is also easy for Sugar House Condo residents as the Exchange Place Path station is a 10-minute walk away. The NY Waterfront Ferry is even closer, being just 5 minutes away, and there’s also a light rail station just a block from the building. 



Sugar House Condominiums Prices

The condominiums at Sugar House are some of the priciest in Jersey City due to their spacious floor plans and incredible finishes. The typical one-bedroom residence in the building sells for around $1 million, while prices for two-bedroom homes at the Sugar House condo vary, depending on the size of the home. Smaller two-bedroom condominiums can sell for $1,150,000 to $1,300,000, while larger two-bedroom residences can go for more than $2 million. The priciest homes in the building are the penthouses that feature private terraces. Many of these homes offer direct views of NYC from the interior and exterior, which comes at a cost, but it’s well worth it.
